Will the key for the gamers edition work with the standard Bullguard that is out for windows 7, Eg. I use it till the new version comes out

I have Bullguard Gamers Edition running on Windows 7 Ultimate, it seems to be working ok and has detected a couple of trojans in downloads. Will the scan work? Is the system safe?
