OK NYASHA,
uninstall norton and disable AVG then do a disk clean when the options window pops up go under the more options tab and click the button that says remove all restore points, then ok, then go into your control panel and turn off system restore, do a cold boot. when you come up go online and download bullguard's 60 day free trial and scan if that don't delete it then it will move into quarantine. also it might do some good to get some spyware remover. when you get the virus id'd we can help. good luck and let me know

Finally got the virus. had trouble downloading bullguard 6.our internet is terribly slow this side and kept timing out.
i disconnected the HDD and hooked it up as a slave on another PC with updated AVG, scanned and caught it/them.One was Worm/Donk.A in the System32 folder,
Trojan horse IRC/BackDoor.SdBot.35.N and/.27.AD in same folder.
It did the trick. Still trying to get Bullguard though coz i got same problem on my laptop and cant take out the HDD
Thanks so much.

You can hook up the laptop with a crossover cable to your other machine and access the anti-virus from that. A Peer-to-Peer network.
