my computer was infected - the obvious causes were Spy Sheriff, (quicklinks?) plus a whole bunch of virus files.  It disabled my task manager.  I ran Windows Antispyware and spysweeper.  I was able to get my computer to the point where it wasn't locking & I was able to get to the task manager again.  However, I still have the following problems:
 
I have files that are infected with Trojan Horse, Trojan.spbot, download.trojan, trojan.vxgame.trojan but I cannot remove them as the following files are locked:
 
f:\windows\system32\st3.dll
f:\windows\system32\zolkeroll.dll
f:\windows\g78322.dll
f:\windows\g387987.dll
etc.......
 
I also have a whole bunch of registry problems as they are looking for links that don't exist anymore.  They also hijacked my home page to a local page c:\secure32.html that asks you to go to the internet & download files that will help fix the problem.
