Trojan Horse Downloader small.6, which AVG detected by cannot remove. I installed Bullguard, but that neither detected, nor obviously, removed it.
I am extremely computer illiterate, and with the stubbordness of this trojan horse have become even more wary of even looking at a computer.
I have windows XP professional. Is there anyone who has had experience with this trojan, and who can, in the most basic and instructive language possible, give me an idea of what to do?
I have read other posts but they havent really got me anywhere.

I have similar problem to yourself however, I have windows me on my pc. Touch suggested, running the following scanner to find out if a pc is indeed infected by viruses.
Hope it helps Sally.
>>This scanner should do the trick >>Run this scanner: http://www.mwti.net/antivirus/free_utilities.asp
>>Take one of the first seven links, activate all, in settings
