My Norton AntiVirus detected a Trojan Horse virus. I am running Win 98 sec.edition. It told me to do a backup of the registry (scanregw), however that is one of the infected files that norton has quarantined. I don't want to do a regedit without backing up first. Then norton is suggesting I delete all infected files. I don't want to screw up my new computer. Please help.
you can go ahead and delete the infected file you need to make sure you have a clean registry before you back it up,so do that first and then do what norton tells you.
