bullguard is telling me it has found a virus program with these 2 viruses in the program... bullguard tells me it blocks the program but it is slowing down my internet usage and opening of my programs and i am getting all kinds of pop ups from adware scanning and deleting tool sites... the file that the .exe file is in is c:\system "something" information\ then a bunch of numbers and letters when i go to my computer the file is not there... when i go to search for the file it says access denied how do i get into the file to delete it? do i need a program to get to it?

You'll have to manually delete the infected files found in the c:\System Volume Information\_Restore folder, they are part of the Win Xp backup (those backup files were created when the system was infected). The System Volume Information folder is a hidden, system folder that the System Restore tool uses to store its information and restore points. There is a System Volume Information folder on every partition on your computer. You might need to gain access to this folder for troubleshooting purposes.
In order to do that please follow the steps:
1. Right click the My Computer icon on the Desktop and click on Properties.
2. Click on the System Restore tab.
3. Put a check mark next to 'Turn off System Restore on All Drives'.
4. Click the 'OK' button.
5. You will be prompted to restart the computer. Click Yes.
