My computer and it's programs (windows mail, internet and other programs) take a long time to load. It's gotten worse in the 9 months since I've had the laptop. And now my internet often doesn't allow me to open up certain websites at certain times. I get frequent error messages.

I've run Hijack This, and the results are below. Any help is appreciated from you gurus!!

Download this program: http://www.ctrlaltdel.dk/Fix_download.exe

and save it on the desktop. Then double click on it (Fix_download.exe).

You may have to allow the program to download files from the web!

The program download the necessary cleaning programs. Once the program
is downloaded, there will be a folder on your desktop named
Fix_download.exe. – if the instructions not automatically opens, so
double-click "FIX_manual.htm".

The computer is still incredibly slow, and the internet is slow too.. yet the other laptops in my house are loading webpages very quickly. This laptop is only 1 yr old. My Windows Mail crashes a lot and is very slow to load.

I made that HiJack This log through 'Run as Administrator' because it wouldn't let me run it the normal way. Now, when I try to open HiJack This again, it says that it is already running. I try 'Run as Administator' but again, it give the error box "hiJack This is already running''

Any ideas?

I'll try shutting down and tomorrow try again.

Very slow still. The Windows Mail program barely opens it's so slow. All my programs take a really long time to open. Perhaps I should do the defragment thing?

Very slow still. The Windows Mail program barely opens it's so slow. All my programs take a really long time to open. Perhaps I should do the defragment thing?
