Please help. only had my brand new computer a few weeks and while happily surfing norton located DOWNLOAD.TROJAN req.dll on my computer. Being a total novice on these subjects i am very keen to has this thing removed. would appreciate some expert help for a total novice

PLEASE HELP!! confused

Hey

Download Hijackthis:
http://computercops.biz/zx/Merijn/hijackthis.zip

Put HJT in a permanent folder.
Click My Computer, then C:\
In the menu bar, File->New->Folder.
That will create a folder named New Folder, which you can rename to "HJT" .Put your HijackThis.exe there, and double click to run it.

Push - Do a systemscan and save a logfile - button

and Highlight the Entire Log by pressing Ctrl+A and Copy it. Post log here
