Thanks for the email.Next problem. Can't access net or safegaurds on laptop. I am on my desktop. Have not attempted to open laptop. I've had 3 computers crash early this year (1rst time on net & peer to peer. I reformated laptop couple of days ago & other than a lot of time finding and downloading to reset up my stuff again, don't have anything important on it. Last time I e-mailed spybot & said though new I was sure my search tool bar was spayware. no reply. I consentrated on saving the file logs from bullguard & adaware SE forwho ever to look at & maybe stop the malisious attacker who masks as (usually syware protection from net) all 3 last time did & this time had many intrusions but am sure it masked as spybloks protection as I tried alot & would not allow me to remove program. even as add/remove highlighted & pressed remove said it wasn't a file! Determined (& extended warranty on laptop!) to save logs this time I almost if didn't crashed laptop. So smart a newbee I saved it to aol & all over in files on laptop (Exspedites destruction!) And think that the log might contain the viruses as my desktop got reports of 9 critical files (saved those logs too) I deleted file log from computer just in case. The viruses could have been re-installed by the BRILLIANT computer tech at comp USA who I told had viruses & taken over remotely by my temp contract computer guy. He kept custom for 3 1/2 weeks & put a folder on desk with old files of mine. I haven't opened it. I learned alot in 4 weeks early this year when I had 2 more of the repaired computers crash from same thing. This was the 1rst time since that I got back on net & peer to peer & within 1 day--BOOM! Do I have all the luck with computers or what? I did save logs to CD for anyone who can help stop thes ***** but newbee left it in computer! I also printed file logs of both bullguard &adaware who couln't combat to victory. I think I can still open laptop up just not net or security.
I don't have a floppy, only cd in laptop 3 so am I up a creek as far as downloading removal from desktop to use? Is it safer and wiser to just reformat instead of removal? Last of all whar are chances of hard drive problems from having virus attack? Lorie
