My computer is behaving very strangely.
After a fresh restart, it runs well, no problems.
After about 15-20 minutes, things slow down.
For example, im playing day of defeat: source, and getting about 25 fps, after 15-20 minutes, it drops to 5-10 fps inexplicably.
My specs are as follows:
p4 2.8 mhz
1 gb of ram
radeon 9600se 128 mb (could be my card?)
I've run adaware, spybot s&d, and bullguard antivirus.  Bullguard found three viruses and fixed them, and the two spyware programs got rid of stuff too.  Im not sure what is wrong, im out of ideas.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hey smile

Let´s see a logfile -
Download:
Hijackthis

Please make a new folder to put your HijackThis.exe into. Anywhere on your hard drive is fine other than your Desktop or the Temp folder. I suggest you use something like "C:\Program Files\HijackThis" but feel free to use any name.
This is to ensure it makes the necessary backups for recovery if needed.
Run Hijackthis exe-
Push - Do a systemscan and save a logfile – button
And Highlight the Entire Log by pressing Ctrl+A and Copy it. Post log here

There are just a few cosmetic items in the log

Please download:
 Ad Aware

Please download Ewido-Free Download: Ewido
Install and update it. Do not scan

CleanUp 4,0 exe! - Download

CleanUp!, is a quick and easy way to delete temporary files from your system. Simply deleting these temp files may clear some infections, and will make running the following scans faster.
Remove checkmark from- cookies

Click on the button labeled CleanUp!.
When it finishes it will prompt you to restart Windows - there will be one or two files it cannot delete when Windows is running - however, they will be deleted next time Windows starts up.

Run Hijackthis and place a check beside each of the following. Once you have checked them, click fix checked.

To completely and immediately remove any infected file or files in the data store, turn off and then turn on System Restore. To do so, follow these steps:
Go to Start >> Run - type sysdm.cpl & press Enter
Select the System Restore Tab
Tick on the checkbox - Turn off System Restore on all drives
Click Apply
Turn it back 'On' by unticking the same checkbox & click OK

It appears as though you are running 2 anti-virus programs at the same time.
That can cause conflicts on a system, and use system recourses . You should remove one of them.
