Dont know if the 2 are related.  The c0.exe is relentless about wanting
to change a registry entry.  I tried to attach the HJT, Rootlog, and AVG logs, but I got a "You cannot upload files that use
MIME type: application/ octet-stream." message from the
Attachment Manager.  These looked like the regular .txt and
.log files, but.....

Thanks.

I have ran HJT, Rootlag, and AVG again, but even after rebooting I still get the same "You cannot upload files that use
MIME type: application/ octet-stream." message from the
Attachment Manager when I try to post the logs here. I have not changed the format of these log files, they are
as they were created. Why cant I upload them?

Thanks,
Jim

I no longer get the Spybot warning about c0.exe wanting to change my startup, but I still can't go into Safe Mode.  A lot of things showed up in these scans (some took overnight to finish)  .....hope they are goners.
Thanks,

Run Hijackthis and place a check beside each of the following. Close all other browser windows except HJT.

When I select Safe Mode, it starts running files I can see on the screen like it is working,
then it reboots.  I have tried every option, (with network, etc.) but they all just reboot.
Also I see that c0.exe is back, what is that?  I also stupidly opened an attachment and
got hit with opnonon and other.

Thank you for the help!

It seems to Me, You don´t have a antivirus installed, that´s probably why You´ve got new infections -

1.      Download AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition

2.      AVG Free Anti-Virus can be downloaded from the AVG website.
3.      Scroll down the page and click Download Free Version. Under the Windows section, click to download the file under AVG Free for Windows installation files. Click OK to save the file to your PC.
4.      Double-click the file you downloaded, and click Next on the welcome screen. Click Accept to agree to the License Agreement. Choose Standard Installation then click Next.
5.      A window will now pop-up if there are any available updates. Click Update to download them. AVG will download and automatically install any updates. Click OK when finished.
6.      Back on the First Run window, click Next to proceed. Leave the Daily Scanning settings as they are and click Next.
7.      You now have the option to perform a scan to test your computer for viruses.
8.      Click Scan computer!
Reboot and post new hijackthis log

OK... I think I am getting a handle on this mess.  I have AVG plus, but finally figured out to get it to load upon
startup.

Disable TeaTimer:
Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced Mode > Tools > Resident.
Uncheck the following:Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) Active.

Run Hijackthis and place a check beside each of the following. Close all other browser windows except HJT.
Click fix checked:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [c0.exe] "C:\aidualc3\c0.exe"

Reboot and tell how things are running ?

Still seems to run slow...but I think(hope) the worst is over.
Do you recommend using the Spybot TeaTimer?
