I have a niece I have been in touch with for a few years by e-mail, but had to stop sending it to her office, because her company keeps sending me a warning that  my e-mail has a forbidden attachment like the following:

Queue ID: 52D3EB7392 Attachment: Joke.scr     forbidden attachment   Found virus I-Worm.Bagle.z.

I realize my address is being used.  This is the only company I hear from.  I am not even using the same computer.  My husband is using this one, and the computer is virus free,

I phoned my cable company Cogeco and they told me it would die out by 2005. Meanwhile, I am still receiving warnings,  Frustrating!   My niece has informed them that I haven't sent mail there for months.

Is there anything I can do to stop these warnings?

Hi there, a quick suggestion is to set up another email(hotmail or yahoo) just for contacting your niece. Feel free to send me an email on the supposed offending account, and ill go through and check what you are sending

I guess for now, ask your niece to ask the IT Administrator at her work to block that email.roll

I did ask her to speak to them, but so far, they just keep on coming.  Three cheers for the delete button. Naturally, I have to hold off telling them myself. :-)  It bothers me that this company is the only one who received this bad attachment. Why am I not hearing from all the other people I write to?  My pc is virus free.

I do appreciate your time virusguys.  My niece now has a pc set up at home, so I can respond to her there.  I could also send her mail from my husband's pc, so I didn't need another account.  I'm just so fed up receiving these.

I'll forward the recent warning from Border Ware Xtreme Mail Firewall to your e-mail address. I'm angry that these hackers can steal an e-mail address to suit their own purpose.
I have heard Border Ware is a very strict program. I

I'm doing quite well on the net for  a  Senior. Been on for 8 years now, but I don't know enough about  these Trojans etc., but doing my best to learn. I do like this Bullguard newsletter. It's very informative.
