i was throwing beta1 in & received VBScript err "can't find vbscrip for script" %bullguard%\fwengine\awf\on_pre_install.vbs tried fix with

regsvr32 %sysroot%system32\vbscript.dll

but failed, prob is my system "PATH" also vbscript.dll not exist in sys32, if i ignore err occurs once more and install completes successfully

just ignore this prob as this prob already existed on my vista sp2 box

P.S. just need vbrun 6

restarted pc and online update to beta2 occurred

during up from beta 1 to beta 2 install complained about possible lack of connectivity but was online so i retried and everything went ok, still running with 17 mins remaining

will update when finished

Edit: i suppose before trying to help with beta software, i'd first be better learning how AV, FW etc. etc. really work, so then i could pick fault & have realistic suggestions.

could anyone please point me in the right direction to learn the relevant stuff regarding BG ?
