Hi All,

            Just wanted to share a problem I had trying to upgrade Bullguard from version 7.0 to 8.0, My computer kept shutting down halfway through installation of Bullguard 8.0 ,I had deleted Bullguard 7.0 first , I spent a good few hours deleting registry strings etc as instructed by Bullguard, eventually they told me to uninstall any Windows Live One Care Programs and also to uninstall K9 Web Protection before trying a re install of Bullguard 8.0, everything then went fine and Bullguard 8.0 installed no probs !,I don't know if this may help anyone but thought I would share with yourselves !

i tryed k9 but when i installed and rebooted ,windows would not load and the site was not much help either,i even tryed removing security software to check for conflicts but still made no difference, are you running xp or vista and can you think of anything stupid i might be doing

Hi Buddy,

            Have you uninstalled K9 Web Protection and Windows Live One Care from add/remove programs ?,after I did that Bullguard 8.0 installed no probs , I also did a search and found any left over files from K9 and deleted them might be worth trying that !!, give me a shout if all goes ok.
