You may have done this already but if not: Click: Start In: Search programs and files type: msconfig Click: msconfig.exe Then click the tab: Startup. The BullGuard check box should be ticked - if not, tick it and all should be OK.
If that still does not work it may be worth reinstalling BullGuard.
I too am running Windows 7, 64 bit. Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed that Bullguard 12 isn't reliably starting during power on (I have enabled auto login, I'm the only user of this laptop).
When this occurs, I can usually tell, because although my wireless LAN connects with my router, I do not have internet access. At first I thought it was my router giving me grief, but other laptops connect without problems.
Bullguard is my only antivirus program ,and windows firewall is turned off (both for home and public networks, although my router network is classed as a "home" network).
Interestingly, the connection is partially there, because skype will connect. But the internet connection taskbar icon usually says no internet, or sometimes it believes to have internet connection for a minute or two before reporting no connection. Either way, I can't connect via a web browser to any site.
But when I start Bullguard manually, I can then connect to the internet. I know Bullguard hasn't started, because the taskbar icon isn't present. Maybe it is partially starting, but the icon isn't present either way.
I've not made any changes to my laptop, apart from letting Windows update install a few updates (there have been quite a few over the last few weeks).
I'd rather not re-install Bullgaurd, as I have it set up nicely with auto triggered scans and the like (I've not changed Bullgaurd for over 6 months, so I'm sure I've not broken it !).
Is there any other in depth debug here that I could look at ?
Same thing happened to me today - also running Windows 7 x64 Home Premium in similar circumstances to J Moore. The taskbar icon briefly appeared on startup, then disappeared again. This has only happened since the recent upgrade to BullGuard IS 12.0.218.
I noticed the same a couple of times - also Win 7 x64 Home - BIS did not start up with Windows. The problem is in version 12.0.218, but it seems to work OK now, at least the last 2 days.
