i think my flash drive died, don't know where to get help, i just tried here. is there any chance i can restore it? the shop where i bought it don't seem to have or provide a good software for their products so i will need to make my own ways to make this flashdrive work again.
Hi there If your flash drive is still being detected when plug in usb socket.........right click on my comuter....then manage....then disk management.........refresh drives......if it picks up flash drive just reformat it .........hopefully you get a working drive.
There's a couple of formatting programs around that can re-establish USB drives. There's also a setting in some that sets the size at a smaller capacity rather than at some unworkable capacity set on some counterfeit ones. 4GB drives can be branded 8GB. The data wraps around from the end of 4GB to the beginning, overwriting the cells at the start. 8-/
