I have down loaded adware SE Personal. When I scan --it only goes to about 900 objects scanned and stops. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it--but I can't get it to complete the scan properly. it has found 2 critial objects--but I cant do anything else with it. Appreciate any input--thanks: Vince. depening on the site you download it from, i can tell you that there are some old versions of ADWARE that wont work properly.
i know I will sound now that you will have to kill me but I have to tell you that ADEARE (made in sweden) its not very good in its QA since is made up by amateurs.
but here is the thing (i know you wont kill me now). I know free softwares that will do better jobs than adware :)
1. spybot is one. 2. CWShredder is another (this one is so cool. you just press FIX and will scan + fix in the same time)
now the free part is good but make sure you either have a 3rd program either purchased or cracked by someone on the net somtimes there are spywares out there than the free softwares wont see :)
Other very outstanding spyware removers with trial features or versions are: no adware, spy sweeper, spy catcher and spy clean (or spyclean in 1 word) The rest are more or less effctive and they are ...majority...a waste of money.
From what i told you is good to know and see it for yourself. Go to www.downlod.com and search for this softwares and download em. Also before downloading them look at the reviews and votes and see if i am bulling you. Download.com is a site where users and people like you and me will vote for any particular software just to let other know which one is better, more qualitative, more friendly or more efficient.
If you look for freebies...I have also some good news to tell you. ANTIVIR is the best antivirus out there after AVAST!
Antivir is free....made in Germany....and every one loves it. TIP: if you have decide to go for a different antivirus than the one you have previously installed on your computer, uninstall the installed antivirus first before you insall the 2nd one so it wont create malfunction in the regedit and cause your system to crash.
