Hi there I picked one of these little beauties somewhere along the line and the past day or so it has caused me a great deal of grief. It makes that annoying RUNDLL pop up appear every few seconds and always seems to replicate itself even after ive deleted it from the computer and got rid of it from reg. it appears in many similar forms such as an exe file and a extension in system 32 e.g ssttt and ssttt.dl along with another file usually. Ive used Spyware doctor, spyware search and destory, avg and a few others to try and get rid of it with no success. So I was hoping maybe you guys and gals could help me out. Hello

Please download Combofix:

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe

and save to the desktop.

Close all other browser windows.

Important-> Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".

Go to start --> run and copy/paste in the following:

"%userprofile%\desktop\combofix.exe" /killall

When finished, it will produce a logfile located at C:\ComboFix.txt.

Post the contents of that log in your next reply with a new hijackthis log.

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause your system to stall/hang.

Do NOT post your problem in someone elses thread.
