Has anyone tested to see if the Microsoft Spyware remover works well? Will it remove spyware hidden in system files? I tried to do a system restore to get rid of a nasty keylogger, but it was hidden in a system folder so it didn't get rid of it and I was just wondering if anyone has tried this and knew if it works well and on trojans and keyloggers, or just pop-up spyware. Anyway thanxs in advance for the help.
I'm skeptic about Microsoft products, because they never work exactly and safely as they should. Reinstall the OS if you want to be really sure there are no "external/non Microsoft" spyware things installed. :)
About that spyware remover from microsoft, I can't tell you what they may have done to it, but I can tell you where it came from. It goes back to giant company's anti-spyware and I can tell you this that stuff was awsome, used it myself, all but died the day I heard on the net that monkeysoft bought them out. That might be actually something of theirs you might want to try. Just one mans opinion
