How on earth do I remove this virus? I have tried Spybot + other methods and it still disconnects me from the internet and dials up a premium line. A google search only comes up with Norton which provides no free download to delete it. Any way to get rid of this bitch?

First of all try :

Ad-Aware

Pestpatrol

Do a scan in safe mode, ( press F8 when before windows logo appears when booting up )

And do a scan there

Ad-Aware found something that could of been it, but it was still there when I rebooted. Pest Patrol performed several illegal operations in safe mode, and in normal mode wouldn't let me remove everything because it wasn't a licensed version.

Did the files that pestpatrol find seem to be the dialler ? Because you could delete them manually

After doing it again, it just comes up with harmless advertising pop ups. All sites seem to say download Ad-a-ware, Pest Patrol etc. yet I still have this virus after scanning the computer various times

I've done scans with Ad-a-ware, Pest Patrol, and Spybot Search & Destroy.

None of them are anti-virus

I would reccomend bullguard, AVG, or avast
