I've got the virus that generates the msnp32.exe file. AVG picks up that file and calls it "Trojan Horse IRC/Backdoor.SDBot.165.E", Trend Micro's housecall finds a boot sector virus that it calls Worm_Rbot.avi . Either I can let AVG restart the computer and delete the file or I can reboot in safe mode and delete it manually - but it always comes back. I've got a tool from trendmicro to automatically remove the malware entries from the registry, but that also seems to rewrite itself. Spybot doesn't really find anything. I'm kind of at the end of my rope here. Can someone please help me?
