I am trying to fix a friends computer, compaq presario, windows xp service pack 2 or 3 I do not know, and cannot really find out. It boots VERY SLOWLY. It takes aprox. 15 minutes to boot to windows and all the backround services... if it doesn't freeze. Freezes if I try to run anything such as malwarebytes or Ccleaner, and I cannot even load the task manager without it freezing. Have tried booting in safe mode, it just reboots. If I try it again, it reboots again. Tried booting with the last working settings, and it is just as slow. Need advice.
It also loads something that says something about a .dll file named nudegoya.dll deep in the computer, somewhere way in the system32 files. Sorry if I am forgetting information. Thank you!
